| Product Name: Colistin Sulfate Place of Origin: China Colistin sulphate Chemical formula & molecular weight: 1) Colistin A: C53H100N16O13: 1169 2) Colistin B: C52H98N16O13: 1155 Description: a white or almost white odorless, bitter and hygroscopic powder. Soluble in water, slightly soluble in methanol and ethanol, but insoluble in acetone and ether. Its free base is slightly soluble in water. Stable under PH value: 3-7.5 Specifications: the potency is no less than 19,000 IU per milligram, calculated with reference to its dried substance. Indication: mix thoroughly with feed in a gradient scale. The recommended dosage level for swine is 2-40g (under two months of age) or 2-20g (under four months of age) and for chicken is 2-20g on the basis of using 100% active Colistin sulphate. Type: 1) Colistin sulphate 2) Colistin sulphate premix Storage: store away from light in a cool dry place. Remarks: Colistin Sulphate 1Ug = 30 units (potency) Precautions: 1) The drug should be prohibited during layering period 2) Do not use in combination with aureomycin, terramycin, bacitracin or olaquindox 3) When used for acute enteritis, rate of use should be twice the maximum limit of the dosage above 4) Dispose of in accordance with corresponding environmental regulations Inner packing: 20kg cardboard carton/fiber barrel/iron drum with a 2-ply polybag or an aluminum foil bag as a lining |
